WHAT IS MICROBLAING?

Microblading is a relatively new manual method of semi-permanent makeup. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional eyebrow tattoo technique. It is done using a very fine blade, that deposits pigment into the epidermis. Since the color is being applied closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine.
This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of natural eyebrow hair. The results are natural, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. This style is strongly desired when the natural brow hair will not grow on its own, since it presents brow look.
The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color and blend perfectly into eyebrow hair that currently remains. The results are a natural and fluffier-looking brow. Initially, the brows will appear darker but fade significantly over a two-week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.

RIGHT AFTER PROCEDURE:

Expect some redness and swelling right after the procedure. After procedure, your lips will appear too dark and unnatural. It will heal and lighten by 30-50%. You may also experience a white halo surrounding the area and this is related to the topical anesthetic used. These symptoms will disappear in the next hour or so.
INSTRUCTIONS:

-
For Microblading, wipe off Magic Sealer 4-5 hours after with a damp cotton pad.
-
Clean eyebrows at the end of the day with a damp cotton pad.
-
For oily skin, dry heal (NO ointment or anything applied to the eyebrows).
-
For non-oily skin, after 48 hours, apply After Care Gel or A&D ointment 1-2 times daily.
-
Keep eyebrows dry (avoid them being submerged in water for too long; ex. Swimming or sauna. A quick shower or washing face is fine, but try to avoid the eyebrow area)
-
No exercising, tanning, waxing or threading.
-
No makeup, eyebrow pencil, lotion or other facial products on the eyebrows.
-
If necessary, use an eyebrow pencil to touch up after eyebrows heal completely.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE HEALING PERIOD:

(*days may vary for everyone)

-
Immediately after: shape may appear uneven due to swelling
-
Day 1 – 3: eyebrows will appear darker and thick.
-
Day 4 – 7: eyebrows will be dry and itchy. Do not scratch, rub or pick at them. They may start to scab, crack or flake off. Eyebrows will look patchy and uneven during healing process. It is absolutely normal and crucial to leave them alone. Please DON’T PANIC.
-
Day 7 – 10: scabs should be all gone (some can take up to 3 weeks) Sometimes eyebrows will appear as if there is no color. The remaining color has absorbed under the layer of skin and in the following week it will resurface as skin cells repair.
-
Week 3 – 4: eyebrows will appear their true color. Eyebrow might still look patchy or have an uneven shape. Some rare cases the pigment does not retain well. (in this case please visit www.AdvanceMicroblading.com and look for question #18 in FAQ)
-
Week 4 – 6: come back for a touch up. Any small corrections can be made at this visit.
IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS:

Avoid sunbathing, solarbrium, light therapies, chemical peelings, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, creams that contain regeneration factors. Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can speed pigment fading.
After 14 days, apply sunscreen to the brows when exposed to sunlight to promote longevity. Other ways to extend the color of your brows: being gentle around the brow area when washing your face or when exfoliating avoid the brow area.
Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area (fraxel, laser, IPL) because it can destroy the pigments.

TOUCH UP APPOINTMENT:

A touchup session is considered a perfection session to fill in any spots that did not take pigment well. Touchups are recommended as everyone heals differently. It can be scheduled between at 4-8 weeks as it can take up to 4 weeks for full results. Any appointments scheduled after 8 weeks from the initial procedure may results in extra charges. New procedures are a two step process and final results are sometimes not guaranteed until a follow visit is completed.
Please Note: Subjective effect on different individuals, e.g. skin types that affect the attachment of color. Most clients will need two sessions, some will only need one, and some will need a third touch-up to complete the look, at an additional charge.
***Please keep in mind that results are not 100% guaranteed because everyone
